This fisherman was encountered as our relief team took rest in the ocean at Lost Beach near Broughton, Jamaica. He spoke of the devastation he observed leaving the beach vacant. Amidst the empty shanties and abandoned boats, he gathered a collection of conch shells. He gifted me three, one of which is seen floating here. This painting communicates his wisdom and resilience. Proceeds from this print go towards ongoing relief efforts in Jamaica such as: solar lights, water purification, hygiene kits and construction efforts in response to category 5 hurricane Melissa.
